2025 Tax Return by Phone: Deadlines, Requirements, and How to Avoid Scams

Don't like the website? The Tax Agency gives you the option to file your income tax return by phone. The service is available until June 30 — but you first need to request an appointment, and the deadline for that is June 29. Hurry: appointments run out fast.

To request an appointment, call the automated numbers: 91 535 73 26 or 901 12 12 24. You make a reservation with a single call. Changed your plans? You can modify or cancel it by calling again — it's that simple. When you request the appointment, provide a mobile number or an email. You will receive an SMS with the date, time, office, and a link to the documents you need to bring. And a reminder, so you don't forget.

That said: when you have an appointment, the Tax Agency will call you at the number you provided. And the call will come exclusively from 91 333 5 333. Write down that number, you will need it. If another number calls you or you receive a WhatsApp, Telegram, or similar pretending to be the Tax Agency, do not answer — it's a scam. The Tax Agency never contacts through those channels. Have doubts or think they tried to scam you? Report it on their citizen collaboration channel.

When the real call comes, you must answer it yourself — someone else cannot take it. The conversation is recorded. To identify yourself, you need the 'Cl@ve' system or the reference number you obtained online. Have your tax data handy: income, withholdings, deductions… because any error delays the return.
