Have you been offered to regularize your situation in Spain in exchange for money? Well, the National Police have dismantled a criminal organization that was dedicated exactly to that: using false documents to give you papers. The operation — carried out by the Provincial Immigration Brigade — has ended with several arrests and a clear warning: whoever buys these services not only loses money, but also risks being investigated. The network operated by setting up simulated job contracts, false registration certificates, and other papers to apply for residency. Everything was fictitious, basically. Immigrants paid thousands of euros thinking they would get regularization, but the Police believe many of them were aware of the fraud. In any case, using false documentation is a crime — it's in the Penal Code — and the consequences can range from expulsion to being disqualified from future procedures. In other words, you're taking a risk.
Regularization by roots — social, labor, or family — has its requirements very clear. You can't bypass them with a purchased paper, that's for sure. If you need to fix your papers, the best thing is to put yourself in the hands of an immigration lawyer or go to the information offices of the administrations. The fees and deadlines are public, you can find them on the website. And no manager — no matter how resourceful — can guarantee you residency if you don't meet the requirements. So, you know: don't take the risk.
If someone approaches you with an offer that's too good to be true, be suspicious. Ask, verify. And if you have doubts, report it. The Police have anonymous channels to report these frauds. Don't risk your future for a shortcut that leads nowhere. You know.
