Alcorcon helps you free of charge with the extraordinary regularization.

The Alcorcón City Council has launched an advisory service for foreign nationals who wish to apply for the extraordinary regularization program approved by the government. It is free of charge and provides guidance and support. The service is provided by the Immigration Information and Guidance Service.

The service center is located at the Adolfo Suárez Municipal Center, at Travesía de Soria, 4. It is open Monday through Friday mornings, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. In addition, on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, they are also open in the afternoon, from 3:00 PM to 7:30 PM. But you can’t just show up: you need an appointment. So request one by emailing tueres1mas@ayto-alcorcon.es or calling 91 112 77 10.

So what is this regularization about? Well, the Council of Ministers approved it on January 27. It allows those who are already in Spain—undocumented, that is—to obtain residency and work permits. The key requirement: you must have resided here for at least five months prior to December 31, 2025. If you’re an applicant for international protection, it’s enough that you applied for asylum before that date. And, of course, you can’t have a criminal record.

Note this important change: to prove your time in Spain, you don’t need just your municipal registration. Any public or private document—or a combination of them—will suffice. This makes it easier to prove your residency. Mayor Candelaria Testa has emphasized that this protects half a million people, prevents exploitation, and also regularizes the status of minor children.

If you live in Alcorcón, this service can save you a lot of headaches. So don’t hesitate: make an appointment. And if you have questions about your specific case, don’t be afraid to ask. They’ll guide you through the entire process.
