So pay attention, if you live in Castilla y León and need help paying rent: the Junta has already enabled prior appointments for housing offices. The new call for rental subsidies, which will be open from December 1, 2025 to January 30, 2026, already has an appointment system.
The aid is for adults with limited income —the exact requirements were published in the BOCyL of October 21, 2025—. Take a look at the Housing portal: vivienda.jcyl.es.
If you want to do it in person, you need a prior appointment. And watch out, in provinces with higher demand such as Burgos, León, Salamanca and Valladolid, you better move quickly. You can book the appointment online at citaprevia.somacyl.es or by calling 983 450 544, from 8:30 to 13:30.
Do you prefer to do it from home? The Junta recommends the telematic route through the Electronic Office. This way you save the trip and usually go faster. All the documentation and steps are on the housing portal.
Don't be complacent with the deadlines: from December 1 to January 30, but if you go in person, ask for an appointment now, especially in the large provinces. And if you have doubts, the official website is your best source.
