Passport for Colombians in Spain without appointment and with discount from April

The schedule is extended: Monday to Saturday, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The goal is to expedite the issuance and renewal of passports. This measure is designed for those who have work or personal complications to attend during normal hours. You just have to go with your ID. If it is for a minor, you need an authentic copy of the civil birth registry with space for reciprocal notes, and the minor must be accompanied by their mother or father. Officials may ask for extra documents to verify nationality. But do not forget to bring everything in order.

A detail worth remembering: you can get a 10% discount on the fee. But be careful, you have to present a certificate proving that you voted in the Congressional elections last March 8. If you did not, the discount does not apply, but you can still process the passport without an appointment. Move if you meet the requirements.

Each consulate has its own special days. For example, April 11 will be dedicated exclusively to passports at some locations, and Tuesdays will only serve people over 60 years old. There are also mobile consulates in towns such as Torrente, Cullera, Calpe, Tarragona and Girona on specific dates. It is best to check your consulate's website or call to confirm the exact schedule in your city. Do not rely only on what you read here.
