Correos, Social Security, and Immigration open appointments for regularization.

This Monday, April 20, in-person attention began for the extraordinary regularization of migrants. The electronic route opened on April 16; now it's time for in-person. You can now request an appointment at Correos, Social Security, and Immigration. But be careful: do not show up without an appointment, because they will not attend to you. The government has been emphatic.

The enabled offices are many. More than 370 Correos offices spread throughout the country. Also 60 Social Security offices. And five Immigration offices, located in Madrid, Alicante, Valencia, Almería, and Murcia. Each body has its reserved hours for these procedures. At Correos, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. At Social Security and Immigration, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. These are specific hours to avoid interfering with the other procedures carried out in those offices.

To get an appointment there are several ways. First, online with Cl@ve. You enter the Regularization portal of the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security, and Migration. There you choose office, date, and time. If you don't have Cl@ve, you can ask a trusted person who has it to request it for you. Another option is a web form, but then you don't choose office: they assign you the one closest to your home. You can also call the number 060, in Spanish, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Choose the one that suits you best.

And who can avail themselves of this regularization? There are two profiles. On one hand, those who requested international protection before January 1, 2026. On the other, those who are in Spain irregularly but arrived before that same date. That is, if you have been here without papers for a while, this could be your opportunity. The deadline to submit the application, both telematic and in-person, ends on June 30. Don't leave it until the last minute, because appointments may run out.

An important detail: fill in your contact details carefully. Phone, email, postal address. Subsequent communications, such as notifications, will preferably be made through the same channel you used to request the appointment. If you act through a representative, notifications will go to them. So make sure everything is correct.

In summary, if you meet the requirements, you already have ways to process your regularization. In-person is another option, especially if the electronic route is complicated for you. But remember: always with a prior appointment.
