In Parla, he sold drugs by appointment, arrested and imprisoned.

In Parla, south of Madrid, the National Police have arrested a guy who was selling drugs using a system that will sound familiar to you: the appointment system. Yes, like the one you need to renew your residence or apply for the TIE. But careful, here it wasn't for an official procedure, but to buy cocaine, hashish, and marijuana.

The investigation began in March 2025. The agents suspected an apartment used as a sales point. And what they found was that the person in charge did not let just anyone in. Buyers had to arrange an appointment with him, and then the transaction was done outside. Inside, he stored and prepared the drugs. The activity was from sun to sun, with security measures to evade the police.

On May 27, the police searched the house. They seized cocaine, hashish, marijuana, scales, a stolen mobile phone, and more than 1,800 euros in cash. The apartment owner was arrested for crimes against public health and against property. The judge ordered his imprisonment.

If you are a foreigner and you are dealing with your papers in Spain, this hits close to home. Because any criminal offense —and especially one with a prison sentence— can mess up your residence renewal, nationality, or even your legal stay. A criminal record can cause a permit to be denied, revoked, or you to be expelled. So be very careful with legal troubles.

The appointment system is something everyday for you: for immigration, for the doctor, for the Town Hall. But, as you are seeing, it is also used for illegal things. If you are ever offered something strange with an appointment system, run away. And if you have problems with your real procedures, you already know where to ask for help.
