Get vaccinated: 16 centers are offering walk-in vaccinations today in Castilla-La Mancha

This Thursday, January 29, the Regional Government of Castilla-La Mancha has organized a special flu vaccination day. And the good news is that no appointment is necessary. So 16 locations—including clinics and hospitals—will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The general public, plain and simple.

The idea is that anyone who hasn’t been vaccinated yet can do so easily. In fact, more than 317,000 doses have already been administered in the region—58.4% of the target. And check this out: a similar campaign in late December also went off without a hitch, according to the Regional Government. So if you haven’t gotten around to it yet… now is the time.

The sites are spread across the five provinces. Take a look: in Albacete, you can go to the Specialty Center on San Juan Street or to the health centers in Almansa, Caudete, Hellín 2, and Villarrobledo. In Ciudad Real, the locations are: Ciudad Real III, Herencia, Manzanares, La Solana, Barataria (Puertollano), Tomelloso 1, and the Valdepeñas Hospital (in the Blood Draw Room).

In Cuenca, only the Cuenca 4 Health Center. In Guadalajara, the Los Manantiales Health Center. And in Toledo, two: the Buenavista Health Center (in the capital) and the Río Tajo (in Talavera de la Reina).

Note: All you’ll need is your health card. No residency papers or appointment needed. That said, if you’re a foreigner and don’t have the card yet, you’ll need to make an appointment at your health center to get it—but you must have it with you on this day. The vaccine is free and recommended for everyone, especially those over 65, pregnant women, and people with chronic conditions. So you know what to do—get moving.
