In Navarre, call 948 012 012 or visit the offices

Well, if you're in Navarre and looking for information about the extraordinary regularization process, you now have a phone number: 948 012 012. Or you can also visit the offices. In Pamplona, the Citizen Services Office is located at Avenida Roncesvalles, 4; it’s open from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. In Tudela, it’s on Calle Estanca (no number), from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. There are also locations in Estella-Lizarra and Tafalla, with different hours. Keep in mind, however, that you must make an appointment in advance for all of them. Appointments are given on a first-come, first-served basis until capacity is reached, so don’t wait too long.

Royal Decree 316/2026 provides two paths to regularize your status. One is for those who have already applied for international protection in Spain. The other—the “extraordinary ties to the country” route—is for those who are undocumented and have never applied for asylum. And keep in mind: you only need to meet one condition, not all of them. So don’t stress out.

So what are those conditions? Well, you’re eligible if you’ve worked as an employee or self-employed in Spain, or if you have a job offer. It also counts if you’re with your family unit, or if you can demonstrate that you’re in a vulnerable situation. Seriously, you don’t have to meet all three—just one is enough. That said, if you qualify based on employment or family status, you don’t need the vulnerability certificate. Simple.

That said, regardless of which route you take, you must prove that you were already in Spain before January 1, 2026. So it’s a good idea to request documents from your local city hall, such as a certificate of residency or a certificate of cohabitation. A history of appointments with social services is also valid. But remember: city halls don’t accept applications—they only provide documents that prove your residence.

You must submit applications through government channels: online or in person at Social Security offices or post offices, always by appointment. In Navarre, you can also do so through accredited partner organizations. And remember: don’t trust unverified information; rely only on official sources.
