The resale of immigration appointments skyrockets and no one stops it.

Getting an appointment at the Immigration Office has become a real nightmare for thousands of immigrants. And you know it: while demand outstrips supply, an illegal market has flourished. Websites, Telegram groups, intermediaries... all resell the few slots released by the Administration for amounts ranging from 20 to 150 euros. That's how it works.

The authorities admit it: they cannot control it. Yes, the National Police has opened some investigations, but the online reservation system remains a sieve. Bots and clever individuals with automated programs snap up appointments within minutes. They then sell them as if they were gold—and they are, for those who need to regularize their situation.

The problem is not only in Madrid or Barcelona; it occurs in small provinces, where there are barely two officials to serve hundreds of applicants. The immigration offices have tried patches: verifying the user's identity, limiting the number of appointments per IP... but the resellers always find the loophole.

If you are looking for an appointment, be very careful. Do not buy from strangers. There are scams that ask for money upfront and then deliver nothing. Furthermore, if you are caught using a purchased appointment, the Administration can cancel it or even shelve your file. So now you know.

The only safe route is the official one: enter the electronic headquarters at mass release times—usually at midnight or 8:00 AM, depending on the province—or request an appointment by phone. Some communities have set up their own systems. Ask at your city council or at an NGO that supports immigrants. Take action.
