Pamplona opens office for 5,000 migrants to regularize their situation

Since this Monday, Pamplona has launched a service to help around 5,000 migrants gather the documents required by the extraordinary regularization —the one approved by the Council of Ministers, yes. The office, called a one-stop shop, is at Zapatería 40, ground floor. It opens by appointment only, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. So if you need to go, you can request an appointment by calling 010 (948 420 100) or through the municipal website.

Careful, don't get it wrong: it's not the City Council that carries out the regularization —that's a matter for the central Administration— but rather it handles processing the registration certificates, your history of appointments with social services, and vulnerability reports. All in one place, without having to go from office to office. The forecast is that they will serve ten people in half an hour, up to 190 appointments per day. Not bad, huh?

So, if you live in Pamplona and meet the requirements —having applied for international protection before January 1, 2026, or being in an irregular situation and having arrived before that date— you can request an appointment. When you go, bring an official identity document. There they will help you fill in the data, sign and stamp the documents, and give them to you on paper. And if you have an email address, they will also send them to you digitally. Not bad, right?

The Councillor for Social Action, Txema Mauleón, has explained that they have hired seven people for this service, plus support from the Municipal Police and volunteers. The office will be operational for about two months, they estimate. However, if you are not registered in Pamplona, they will refer you to your municipality or to CEAR, an accredited entity. So now you know, get moving if it's your turn.

Important: this service is only for the extraordinary regularization. While it is active, no other registrations will be made at Zapatería 40. But if you need reinforcement, it will be available. The goal is that no one is left unable to process their documentation. And you, are you ready?
