Migration is back at it with another express day to get the electronic passport. The II Passport Fair will be held this Saturday, May 9. You go without an appointment, they assist you, and you take the document the same day. The idea is to serve more than 4,400 people.
The fair is set up in 26 agencies spread across Lima, Callao and other regions. Among the venues are Huánuco, Ucayali, Ica, Ayacucho, Cajamarca, Moquegua, Juliaca, Arequipa, Piura, Loreto, Cusco, Huancayo, Chimbote, Chiclayo, Tacna, Puno, Trujillo, Tarapoto, Tumbes and Puerto Maldonado. The hours are from 8 in the morning to 5 in the afternoon.
The first edition, at the Jockey Plaza agency, managed to process a thousand passports in a single day. For this second one, the team is reinforced with more than 300 operators, enrollers and guides to keep the lines moving quickly. Superintendent Juan Ramiro Alvarado Gómez made it clear: they want to bring the service closer so that you don't have to resort to intermediaries.
To participate, you must pay the fee of 120.90 soles at the Banco de la Nación or through the Pagalo.pe platform with code 01810 and your ID. Then, you just need to go to any of the venues with the receipt and your valid ID. However: the service is until slots run out.
Migration insists that you do not resort to intermediaries to avoid fraud. The fair is a golden opportunity if you need the passport urgently and have not been able to get an appointment. So now you know, get moving.
