From this Monday you can already request an in-person appointment to take advantage of the extraordinary regularization. The process has started in Navarre —and also in the rest of the country—. In this community alone, about 10,000 people could benefit. So if you are in Navarre, get moving.

Where do you submit the application? Well, in Navarre, in-person appointments are handled at the General Treasury of Social Security —Conde Oliveto Avenue, Pamplona— and at three post offices: two in Pamplona (Paseo de Sarasate and another) and one in Tudela. If necessary, more points will be opened. To go, you have to request an appointment in advance on the website of the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration. Or, if you prefer, you can call 060 (Monday to Friday, from 9:30 to 14:00 and from 16:30 to 19:30). So, you know where to go.

Do you prefer to do it online? Well, since last Thursday, if you have an electronic certificate, you can submit the application online without needing an appointment. The permit you obtain will have an initial validity of one year. After that period, you will have to move to the ordinary figures of the Immigration Regulations. So if you prefer digital, go ahead.

The requirements are clear, so pay attention: you must have arrived in Spain before January 1, 2026 and have resided here uninterruptedly for at least five months before applying. You must also have no criminal record. To prove your stay, you can present public or private documents that contain your personal data. Easy, right?

If you are in an irregular situation, you must also demonstrate one of these three cases:

• Having worked with a legal contract.
• Having minor children or dependent persons in your care.
• Being in a situation of vulnerability.

For the latter, there is a certificate that you can download from the ministry's website, but it must be stamped by collaborating entities or social services. Be careful with that certificate, it is not valid without a stamp.

The process also protects international protection applicants who requested it before January 1, 2026. Minors obtain a five-year residence permit. And members of the same family unit can manage all applications in a single appointment. So if you have family, better to put it all together.
