Extra regularization, don't miss the process.

Well yes, from today you can go to request an in-person appointment for the extraordinary regularization. In Navarre, it is estimated that about 10,000 people could benefit from this route —but many are still lost. And it's no wonder: the process combines the traditional counter, the digital office, and the prior appointment. So take note of the step by step.

If you prefer face-to-face treatment, you have two paths: the General Treasury of Social Security, on Avenida Conde Oliveto in Pamplona, or any Post Office. That said —and this is important—, you must first request a prior appointment on the website of the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration. If you arrive without an appointment, you'll be turned away.

But if you want to go faster —and who doesn't—, since last Thursday you can do everything online. You only need an electronic certificate or the Cl@ve system. No appointment, without leaving home. Ideal if you already have the documents scanned.

Now, the requirements: you must have arrived in Spain before January 1 of this year and have lived here for at least five consecutive months before applying for regularization. Also, no criminal record and not be considered a threat to public order. And watch out —the immigration office has nothing to do here, so don't even think about going there.

In Pamplona, the City Council has opened a help point at Calle Zapatería 40. There they give you a hand to gather the papers —it is estimated that about 5,000 residents of the capital need it—. Afterwards, you yourself have to take the documentation to the Post Office or Social Security. And if you want more help, turn to the Red Cross, UGT, CCOO, the College of Administrative Managers, Apoyo Mutuo or Itxaropen Gune. All of them advise you.

The deadline to submit the application —online or in person— started on April 16 and closes on June 30. So don't fall asleep. And if something goes wrong or you get tangled with the appointment, don't worry: you are not alone.
