Express passport raffle in Lima: 1,000 without an appointment on May 2.

If you are Peruvian and live in Spain, you will surely at some point have to renew your passport. So pay attention: the National Superintendence of Migration of Peru has organized a special day without an appointment for Saturday, May 2. It will be held at the Jockey Plaza agency, in Santiago de Surco (Lima), from 8 in the morning to 8 at night.

The idea is that you can complete the entire process in a single day. However, capacity is limited: only up to one thousand passports will be issued. So if you are interested, better to get up early or arrive soon to secure your spot. No taking it easy.

The cost is S/120.90 (about 30 euros at current exchange rate). You can pay it at the Banco de la Nación or through the Págalo.pe platform before going. Don't forget to bring your valid DNI and the proof of payment: you present it at the counter and that's it, the process continues.

For adults over 70 there is a bargain: they can process their passport without an appointment any day of the week, and the procedure is completed on the same day. If you are that age, you don't need to wait for the fair: you can go to any agency during regular hours. Take advantage.

The authorities have spread it on social media to decongest the offices during the week. So if you have trouble requesting an appointment online, this is your opportunity. Don't let it pass.
