Get vaccinated without an appointment in Salamanca: 28 spots for flu and COVID this weekend.

Well, look, if you are in Salamanca and still haven't gotten the flu or COVID vaccine, you have a golden opportunity. The Junta of Castilla y León —through Sacyl— has set up a walk-in vaccination service for the upcoming weekends. No paperwork. In total, 28 points between the city and the province.

In the city, the location is the SUAP (Primary Care Emergency Service), on Valencia Street. Outside the capital, you can go to health centers or on-call clinics in towns like Béjar, Ciudad Rodrigo, Guijuelo, Peñaranda, Santa Marta, Vitigudino... and 20 more. In short, from Alba de Tormes to Villarino de los Aires.

The dates: Friday November 28, December 5 and 12; Saturdays and Sundays November 29 and 30, December 6, 7 (note, the 8th is a holiday), 13 and 14. Hours: Fridays, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Saturdays and Sundays —and the holiday on the 8th—, from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. So you have no excuse.

And what if you are a foreigner? Don't worry, you don't need to be Spanish or have an up-to-date health card. You can get vaccinated even if you are in the process of registering or have a NIE. The Junta recommends wearing a mask if you are vulnerable or if you care for someone immunocompromised. Hurry up, because vaccines wait for no one.

If you prefer to go on a weekday morning, ask for an appointment at your usual health center. But if work schedules make things difficult for you, these weekend points solve your life. No appointment, no queues. Get moving.
