So this Monday, December 29, Castilla-La Mancha has set up a special flu vaccination day. No appointment needed and free. The goal: to cover as many people as possible, before the virus continues to circulate strongly. If you haven't been vaccinated yet, this is your chance. Hurry up, don't miss out.
The 16 centers will be open from 9 am to 8 pm, spread across the five provinces. You can go or anyone — regardless of age or if you are in a risk group —. You arrive, they vaccinate you immediately. That simple.
These are the centers, province by province:
- Albacete: Specialties Center on San Juan Street (capital), and the health centers in Almansa, Caudete, Hellín 2, and Villarrobledo.
- Ciudad Real: Ciudad Real III (capital), Herencia, Manzanares, La Solana, Barataria (Puertollano), Tomelloso 1, and the Valdepeñas Hospital (in the Extractions room).
- Cuenca: Cuenca 4 health center.
- Guadalajara: Los Manantiales health center.
- Toledo: Buenavista health center and, in Talavera de la Reina, the Río Tajo health center.
The campaign is going full steam ahead, yes. According to official data, 57.7% of those over 60 have already been vaccinated — more than 310,000 people. Also 50,547 children under 14 and 101,194 people between 14 and 59 years old. Even so, they want to reach more people, especially with family gatherings this season. So you know: if you haven't been vaccinated, this Monday is a perfect day.
Are you a foreigner and don't know if you can get vaccinated? Well yes, you can. You don't need a health card or papers. You just have to go to the nearest center. The vaccine is for everyone, regardless of your situation. So move and get vaccinated.
